Oprah Snags Arsenio Hall for ‘Next Chapter’
Oprah’s camp seems to have a formula for her ‘Next Chapter’ series. And guess what? It appears to be working. To date, she’s snagged heavy hitters like Lindsay Lohan, Rihanna, Usher and Jennifer Hudson. This week, the network announced that Arsenio Hall will join Winfrey on an upcoming episode. Hall has certainly reappeared with a bang. ‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ has done incredibly well since it’s return last month, scoringe the highest-rated premiere week for any syndicated talk show in seven years. So far, celebs like Vivica Fox, Nas and Paula Patton have appeared on the show.
Hall will discuss being one of the only African-Americans in late night television and what he has learned after being away from the spotlight after twenty years. During the conversation, filmed at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, the 57-year-old will discuss his move to LA when he was younger, receiving professional advice from Jay Leno and how his comedy was shaped by his father who is a Baptist minister. Oprah’s Next Chapter with Arsenio Hall will premiere October 20 at 9 PM on OWN.
