One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show: Paula Patton Makes 1st Public Appearance Since Robin Thicke Separation

The show must go on!

Despite a challenge going on in her personal life, Paula Patton looked radiant, stepping out for the first time since she and Robin Thicke announced their split. Attending the Independent Spirt Awards on Saturday (March 1st), the 38-year-old actress was all smiles on the red carpet. She wore a canary yellow Lorena Sarbu lace dress and tan Christian Louboutin heels.

This was the first time she walked the carpet at an event since last attending the Grammys in January with estranged husband Robin Thicke.

Paula and Patton announced their split on Feb. 24 after eight years of marriage, a 3-year-old son, Julian, and 20 years together. Since their announcement, Robin has been quite vocal about trying to win his wife back, telling concert goers last Thursday at a show in Fairfax, VA:

For y’all that don’t know me and my wife separated, but I’m trying to get my girl back. She’s a good woman.
