Celebration Time! Kandi Burruss’ Bridal Shower Brings Out Mama Joyce, Phaedra Parks & More Reality Stars

The count down is on, as Kandi Burruss prepares to walk down the aisle and wed her fiance, Todd Tucker.

Over the weekend, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star attended her bridal shower, which included Kandi’s close family and friends. Only a select few, as in one, of Kandi’s RHOA cast mates attended, Phaedra Parks, who is also her bridesmaid. Kandi’s close friend and former Xscape member, Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle, who will also be her bridesmaid attended, along with Shekinah Joe. We also spotted former Football Wives star Chanita Foster, Kandi’s BFF Carmen (who makes regular cameo appearances on the show), Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Rasheeda and a few other familiar faces.

Kandi’s mother, Mama Joyce, attended and was in good spirits, despite her displeasure with Kandi’s husband-to-be. Check out a few photos from the shower.

As we previously reported, a wedding special, starring Kandi and Todd, has been underway for a few weeks and she is set to walk down the aisle as early as the first week of April. So far, there has been drama with the choice of her wedding dress because she wants a local dress designer and family and friends do not like that idea.

All of the ATL housewives of have been invited. And Mama Joyce promises to be on her best, wedding behavior. Earlier this month, she told Radar Online:

I am not excited but I am going. It’s not my wedding. If she is happy then I am happy for her. If that’s who she wants to marry then I’m happy. As long as she is happy I am happy. Kandi says she is happy so I just have to go by what she says.
