[WATCH] Kelis Performs New Single “Rumble” on Late Night’s ‘Conan’

Looks like singer Kelis may be leaving the kitchen for a little to return to her musical skills. Back like she never left, the 34-year-old mother and chef on the side, has hit late night’s “Conan” with her new single “Rumble”.

Her 6th studio album, Food, which steers away from a hiphop flare is on the tune of a more jazzy, folk, or indie pop sound (however your ear buds take it) may be a good thing for the singer. Incorporating her favorite dishes from her sauce line, Feast,  like’ jerk ribs’, you will here a lot of different tones coming from this album unlike her past works.

Resembling a 1920’s flapper, Kelis graced the stage with a head full of fluffed curls, dark red lips and giving a soulful performance that included a live band, made it even more jazzy!
