Rock Star Stuntin’ : Prince Covers ESSENCE Magazine
Very few men are awarded the opportunity to cover female targeted ESSENCE magazine, but who can turned down Prince. The 55-year-old classic rockstar poses on the cover of the June issue of ESSENCE, with his perfectly rounded Afro and signature shades.
In their cover story, Prince After Dark, writer Cheo Hodari Coker chronicles an evening with the star in L.A. in March, before and after another one of his marathon shows. In the issue, Prince shares why he doesn’t curse in his songs anymore and his thoughts on record company heads. The issue hits stands May 9.
