Lee was sued by Elaine and David McClain for 1.2 million dollars last year, after he tweeted an address thinking it was George Zimmerman’s but it was actually the elderly couples Florida home address. Lee reached out and apologized and paid them 10k as part of a settlement. However, the couple filed suit despite the settlement claiming they were still receiving hate mail and threats along with suffering from anxiety and fear, they also had to move out of their home as a result of Lee’s tweet.

It was Spike Lee’s fault that he “screwed up”, but it’s hard to believe that it was a 1.5 million dollar mistake. 10K seems more than reasonable.

SAMUEL Eto’o scored twice – his second goal coming with a spectacular bicycle kick – and Inter Milan beat Livorno 3-0 yesterday to restore a four-point lead in Serie A.
