Friends Lil Kim and K. Michelle, found themselves going head to head last night. A Twitter fight that was purely infantile was also one that shed a nice light of maturity on K. Michelle. Along with the rest of the world, the Rebellious Soul tuned in and got her life with the VMA performers. One in particular, Nicki Minaj slayed the stage—before Beyonce of course—and the singer tweeted about it.

Well the hive swarmed the singer’s mentions for her giving Nicki the “queen of rap” title. They invaded her mentions until they forced her to respond. Like true K fashion, she she held her ground and spoke her truth in a few tweets.
