Hollywood Divas’ Paula Jai Parker: I’m Not Crazy! I Know What Happened To Me.
After watching the first episode of Hollywood Divas, reality TV newbie Paula Jai Parker would like to clarify a few things. During the premiere episode, TV One viewers watched Paula Jai struggle emotionally with a few issues, one of which surrounds the claim that she was blackballed in Hollywood because she married an ‘outsider’/production assistant. Paula Jai writes about that experience, along with her reaction to her cast mate (Elise Neal’s) dismissal; Golden Brooks being part of a ‘mean girl’ clique and having drinks thrown on her; and getting cosmetic surgery.

On Elise Neal’s Dismissal of Paula’s Blackball claims:
I genuinely think Elise knows the truth. She did acknowledge that it happened and she had warned me that it would happen. I’m not crazy. I know what happened to me. I’m speaking my truth, no matter who believes me. I’ve been tried by the fire and I’ve come out on the other side. You can’t debate your truth.
So for someone to say that they don’t believe bad things can happen when you directly upset a powerful person, they are living in a fantasy. Powerful men have been running this industry since its beginning. Actresses like Francis Farmer, Marilyn Monroe, Dorothy Dandridge were at the mercy of men in the industry.

I believe her! People need to stop being so naive when it comes to Hollywood and it’s scandals. They happen everyday in normal life to regular human beins..how dare someone think it wouldn’t happen in Hollywood….you piss someone off they coming for you!
I believe her as well. She sounds quite sane to me. It seems in Hollywood, if you piss someone off they don’t come for you, they stop calling you instead!
Anyway, I loved the first episode and can’t wait for the next one.

Black balling doesn’t happen in hollywood huh? Just ask Margot Kidder, Sean Young, Hell Joan Rivers was black balled from the tonight show and couldnt return until aftr Jay Leno left! Jonnhy Carson messed up her career for so long she had to go back out on the road! That’s why she never stopped going out on the road. Her die hard fans are the only reason she didn’t loose EVERYTHING!
Why not name drop on who “Black Balled” her???? Or is this a story line to gain attention to get acting gigs???
I believe her too. Actually, she is the only one who seems “real” and genuine regarding her life & background. I don’t think she’ll drop any names because that’s just stupid. She’s trying to make a come up, so I don’t think she’d want to be blackballed all over again.
Golden is a pure trip and Elise surprised me too. They both came off a little conceded & arrogant, like they’re better than everybody else. I hope that changes because I really liked them before seeing these personalities.
Elise nor Golden have been on tv for over ten years. But I have seen Paula on there. Bow down, cause you two are bougie for no reason. You are not better than anyone. Only God knows y lisa who is on there.??? She bought a butt and What????
