(EXCLUSIVE) NFL Legend Cris Carter Sued By Ex-Business Partner For $37 Million
Former NFL wide receiver Cris Carter is being sued for $37 MILLION dollars. theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports the retired NFL’er is being accused of screwing over his ex-business partner and selling off his security company for millions more than it was worth.
Reportedly, Cris Carter and his brother John — owners of the Carter Brothers Security Services — filed a federal lawsuit against former business partner, Tyco International, over a $35.8 million agreement they signed in 2012.
The deal was for Tyco to pay $35.8 million for both the security, fire and life safety divisions of Carter Brothers Security Services.
In the court documents, Cris explained he had worked with Tyco since 2012, but the company failed to pay them the last $3 million due on the deal and thus why he filed suit. Further, he alleged the employees of Tyco had used racial slurs when referring to him and his brother in internal communications on various occasions.
Then on November 10th, Tyco reportedly fired back at Cris and his brother’s legal battle, filing their own lawsuit against Carter Brothers Security Services.
