Former Teen Summit Host, Local Politician A.J. Cooper, Dies at 34
Local D.C. politician and former BET Teen Summit host, A.J. Cooper passed away suddenly. He was 34. Cooper is best known for hosting Teen Summit, while in high school and college. He also served in the Marines and graduated from the University of Maryland in 2009. He worked as the policy director for the D.C. Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy and also ran as an Independent for a council seat in 2012.
