North Korea Compares President Obama to A Monkey
The political drama between North Korea and the U.S. continues. And while we attempt to stay clear of the politics, things have heated up even more.
On Saturday, North Korea blamed the U.S. for shutting down their Internet amid the hacking controversy over the movie “The Interview”, and compared President Barack Obama to a monkey.
According to the Associated Press, they have denied involvement in a crippling cyberattack on Sony Pictures, but has expressed that they are unpleased over the comedy, which jokingly depicts the assassination of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
As you’re well aware, Sony initially called off the release of the film, citing threats of terror attacks against U.S. movie theaters. And later, after being criticized by Obama, decided to open the movie in certain markets, along with a digital release.
The outlet reports:
On Saturday, the North’s powerful National Defense Commission, which is led by Kim and is the country’s top governing body, said Obama was behind the release of “The Interview.” It described the movie as illegal, dishonest and reactionary.
