Rapper/actor/mogul 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) is fuming mad. The 39-year-old feels that the new FX series EMPIRE is imitating the the Starz series, POWER.
Empire is an upcoming musical drama television series about a music empire. The hip-hop family drama project from Lee Daniels and Danny Strong stars Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson and Gabourey Sidibe.
Meanwhile, Power is an American drama television series on Starz created by Courtney Kemp Agboh and produced by 50, starring Omari Hardwick, Lela Loren, Naturi Naughton and Joseph Sikora.
So what’s the fuss about? 50 feels that Empire copied Power’s marketing strategy.
