Common & John Legend Win Big at Golden Globes + See Complete Winner List

Last night, the 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards took place in Beverly Hills. Hosted this year by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, each year this accolade is given by the 93 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) recognizing excellence in film and television, both domestic and foreign. The annual formal ceremony and dinner at which the awards are presented is a major part of the film industry’s awards season.

Some of the highlights of the show included: Common and John Legend winning for ‘Original Song’; Prince making a surprise appearance; Tina and Amy taking a few comical jabs at Bill Cosby and Chrissy Teigen doing the ugly cry after after her husband’s win, which resulted in an explosion of Twitter memes.
