We can definitely say that J.Lo has come far from her “Jenny from the Block” days and is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Coming down from her amazing high with her chart topping, rump shaking song aesthetically titled, “Booty” featuring Iggy Azalea, this fly girl is soaring through the industry.
Gearing up for the release of her new steamy thriller, ‘The Boy Next Door,’ J.Lo is definitely giving the term M.I.L.F all types of life. In her new movie, J.Lo plays an estranged wife who soon finds herself being comforted by her hot and younger next door neighbor. Only to find out the young catch goes from cute to crazy when she decides to end the fling.
Being no stranger to the public eye when it comes to her life and love, J.Lo sat down with Complex discussing everything from her new character, and just how complex her life has been; from battling low self-esteem, divorce, being a sexy mother and how she feels about celebrities being hacked. The biggest challenge with this role [Boy Next Door]:
Jennifer Lopez: The role itself is just every woman. She’s a relatable character. She’s at a bad point in her life. Obviously, we’ve all had moments like that where our relationship is falling apart, you’re at the verge of divorce, and your life is changing. And you’re feeling vulnerable and unwanted and in need of some validation. I mean, it’s always challenging, any role you take on. But it’s funny; the [roles] that seem closest to you sometimes are more challenging, because it’s not you.
