Suge Knight Officially Arrested On Murder Charges, Bail Set At $2 Million + Attorney Says Hit & Run Was An ‘Accident’

Marion “Suge” Knight is currently in custody. The 49-year-old Death Row Records founder turned himself into authorities early Friday after his attorney said he accidentally ran over and killed a friend and injured another man as he fled attackers.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the incident was being investigated as a homicide. Knight is currently a person of interest and is at the West Hollywood station with his attorney being interviewed by homicide detectives.

Officials state that a red pickup truck (allegedly driven by Suge) struck the men in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant. A 55-year-old man died at a hospital and a 51-year-old man was injured but Corina did not immediately know his condition. Suge’s attorney, James Blatt, said:
