This week, Harlem Pride and DBQ Magazine hosted a red carpet premiere for ‘BLACKBIRD’ at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in Harlem. The ‘BLACKBIRD’ cast was in attendance, including Academy Award winner Mo’Nique, Isaiah Washington, Julian Walker and D. Woods; ‘BLACKBIRD’ director Patrik-Ian Polk and producers Keith Brown and Carol Ann Shine.

Additional attendees included RLJ Entertainment chairman and founder Bob Johnson, model Tyson Beckford, actor Leon Robinson, singer Monifah, celeb stylist Ty Hunter, Sister 2 Sister’s Jamie Foster Brown and Harlem Pride board president Carmen Neely.
