Raven Symone’s Dad Says Daughter Sometimes Says ‘Some Dumb Sh*t’
Raven Symone’s father, Christopher B. Pearman, is speaking out about his daughter’s recent comments on The View. As previously reported, the 29-year-old co-host has come under fire after she stated on Thursday’s show that she would discriminate against a job applicant with a “ghetto” name. The former Cosby Show star said:
I’m not about to hire you if your name is Watermelondrea. It’s just not going to happen. I’m not going to hire you.
Raven was not only criticized on social media for her comments, but her father admitted that he wasn’t a fan of her statements. Sharing his point of view on Facebook, he writes:
To My Dear Friends, There has been much talk today about my daughters comments on her show The View. People have been hitting me up all night questioning me about her remarks. Let me say this……I haven’t managed Ravens career in over 10 years. This woman is grown, has her own management team, has her own opinions, right or wrong, and is responsible for her own words and actions.
