Trey Songz Released From Jail, Charged With Assault, Resisting & Obstructing Officer [Mug Shot]
Trey Songz Released From Jail
Trey Songz (real name Tremaine Neverson) has been released from jail. Last night (December 28th), the 32-year-old singer was arrested in Detroit for reportedly throwing equipment and punches from the stage after he was told to end his set and his mic was cut off.
A Detroit Police Department spokeswoman says that Songz was arrested and charged with felonious assault on another person and resisting and obstructing an officer.
Officials say a person was struck in the head by one of the flying objects, in addition to Trey punching a police sergeant in the head, causing a concussion.
The sergeant, who was injured while trying to calm the situation, was treated and released from a local hospital.
