Apollo Demands Cut Of Phaedra Parks Paycheck

theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Apollo Nida is blasting his estranged wife Phaedra Parks in their nasty divorce battle. He claims that she used his ex-convicted felon status to bolster her Real Housewives of Atlanta storyline and is adamant he deserves a cut of her paycheck, due to her only becoming famous because of him.

Apollo filed docs recently in the never-ending divorce battle with Phaedra, demanding the judge throw out the pre-nuptial agreement they signed before their wedding.

The reality star accuses his wife of not providing a full and complete disclosure of her finances and misrepresented her financial condition.

He is adamant during their marriage he contributed a significant amount of money as a down payment to purchase their martial home in Atlanta, despite the home titled solely to Phaedra. Apollo claims he purchased thousands of dollars’ worth of furniture and personal property in the home and contributed money to upgrades.

Apollo then points out prior to the premarital agreement the two of them were unknown, everyday people. Several months later the parties were cast on RHOA, gaining celebrity status and notoriety.

He says while he was not an official cast member, he appeared regularly on the show with Phaedra from the very beginning and became her storyline throughout the series from season three until today – even after he was locked up. Court docs state,

In fact, the Wife often bolstered herself on the show as a “Southern Belle” and “high-powered Attorney” who married an ex-convicted felon. The parties’ joint participation on the show generated millions of dollars for the Wife who was the contracted cast member. It is undisputed that the Husband’s involvement on the reality show aided in the Wife remaining a relevant cast member on the show and consequently causing her to earn millions of dollars.

Apollo says it would be unfair and unreasonable for the court to approve the premarital agreement in light of the fact that he contributed substantially, if not, wholly – to the wife’s success as a reality TV celebrity, as a result he believes he is entitled to a cut of her money in the divorce.
