Mary J. Blige Called Out By Estranged Husband

Mary J. Blige is being called out on social media by her estranged husband and former manager Martin ‘Kendu’ Isaacs. On Sunday (June 26th), Kendu posted a clip of MJB’s BET Awards performance, with the caption:

That intro was so forced!!!!! Ok. It’s time for me to tell the truth.

Speaking to the singer directly, he added,

I love you to death Mary J. Blige. I can’t even begin to understand why you are going on about this the way you have been. I never wanted to discuss our life airing the laundry. You know me better than that. You and I really need to talk and stop all this negative nonsense. I love you and I will always regardless of your actions.

As previously reported, Blige and Isaacs married in 2003 and split in 2016, with MJB filing for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences”. While Isaacs has yet to address what caused their split, Blige has stated in interviews that he was unfaithful in their marriage.

It is widely speculated (and unconfirmed) that Isaacs cheated on the singer with her protege, Starshell.

The pair are currently in a nasty divorce battle. Earlier this month, a judge ordered her to pay Isaacs $30,000 a month as a form of temporary spousal support, as well as a hefty $235,000 payment for retroactive spousal support and legal fees. Originally, Isaacs had requested $129,319 per month. Blige has yet to comment on Isaacs latest comments on social media.
