Martin Lawrence Shoots Down “Martin” Reunion, Addresses “Bad Boys 3” Rumors
Martin Lawrence Shoots Down “Martin” Reunion, “Bad Boys 3”
If you were a fan of the hit 1990’s show, Martin, don’t expect a reunion in the near future. August 27th will be the 25th anniversary of the classic comedy sitcom, but the show’s creator and star, Martin Lawrence, has no plans of a reunion. He says,
A reunion? No, we’ve done everything that we could do. There will be no reunion.
He does say that he keeps in contact with his former co-stars.
I talk to Tichina [Arnold], Carl [Anthony Payne II] and I ran into Tisha [Campbell-Martin],. Yeah, we’ve talked.
Martin also clarifies rumors about another “Bad Boys” sequel. Despite his IMDb page noting that he and Will Smith are prepping for “Bad Boys for Life” and “Bad Boys 4”, there doesn’t seem to be any plans of another film in the works.
There can’t be a ‘Bad Boys 4’ if there hasn’t even been a ‘Bad Boys 3’. The whole ‘Bad Boys’ — there’s no ‘Bad Boys’ going on. There’s no ‘Bad Boys.’
Meanwhile, the 52-year-old comedian is working on new TV projects, saying:
It’s in the early stages. We’ll see what happens.
