Derek Fisher Joins “Dancing With The Stars”
Derek Fisher is taking his talents to TV. The former NBA star and ex Knicks coach has signed on for the 25th season of Dancing With the Stars.
Prior to coaching, Derek played in the NBA for 18 seasons, most famously with the Los Angeles Lakers, with whom he won five championships. Earlier this year, he made headlines after he was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a car accident in Los Angeles. His girlfriend, ex Basketball Wives star Gloria Govan, was a passenger in the car. Neither were homed. Earlier this month, he entered a no contest plea related to the DUI crash.
The upcoming season will also feature actor-singer Jordan Fisher (who is not related to Derek Fisher), violinist Lindsey Stirling, former paralympic swimmer Victoria Arlen, actor Frankie Muniz, TV personality Drew Scott, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey.
