Lebron James “Survivor’s Remorse” Cancelled By Starz After 4 Seasons
Survivor’s Remorse Cancelled After 4 Seasons
It’s a wrap after Survivor’s Remorse. Reportedly, the current fourth season of the basketball comedy will be its last. The Oct. 22 season finale will now serve as a series finale for the hit Starz series. Starz president and CEO Chris Albrecht said in a statement.
We have been fortunate to work with incredible talents like Mike O’Malley, the executive producers and our cast on this very special show for four seasons. While this may be the end of The Calloway’s story, we do believe that the themes Survivor’s Remorse confronted over the seasons, through a unique mix of humor and sober observation, will be appreciated for the insightful, heartfelt way they were addressed. We are proud of the show.
The half-hour comedy starred Jessie T. Usher, RonReaco Lee, Erica Ash, Teyonah Parris, Tichina Arnold, Robert Wu and Meagan Tandy.
The comedy marked one of NBA star LeBron James’ first forays into scripted television. James exec-produced with his producing partner Maverick Carter through James’ SpringHill Entertainment banner.

I liked the show. But there were things that were unrealistic…even for television. The star was too short to be a basketball player; the sister went overboard about her sexuality; and they NEVER should of got rid of Mike Epps.
Mike Epps left because he had his own show, Uncle Buck, which also got canceled.
Mike Epps left because he wanted more money and they wouldn’t give it to him. And look what that got him a cancelled show
Gerome, please do your due diligence. There are plenty of past and present superstars in the NBA that weren’t considered TALL- Isiah thomas 6’2’’ Allen Iverson 5’11’’ John Stockton 6’2’’ Isaiah thomas ( Boston Celtics ) 5’8’’~ just to name a few…..the actor who plays Cam Calloway stands 6’1’’ tall in real life
I liked the show but it was getting stale.
Gonna miss Erica Ash’s character.
I will miss the wonderful dialogue, interesting characters and good acting. The show seemed to lack a clear and coherent plotline.
I watched every season but this 1. I think they had a terrible time slot, it’s so many new shows as well as football. Should’ve tried taking it to Saturday before getting rid of it. Or they should’ve started when Power started, they would’ve played off each other. It’s just sitting out there alone.
