Ginuwine Joining ‘Celebrity Big Brother’
Rumor has it, Ginuwine is taking his talents to reality TV. According to reports, he’s been cast on the upcoming season of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’. We hear producers are hoping that the 47-year-old singer (who is father to 9 children by 5 different women) will have a romance in the house.
Celebrity Big Brother (or Big Brother VIP) is an adaptation of the Big Brother reality television series franchise in several countries, in which the housemates are local celebrities. In some countries, the prize money normally awarded to the winning housemate is donated to a charity, and all celebrities are paid to appear in the show as long as they do not voluntarily leave before their eviction or the end of the series. The rest of the rules are nearly the same as those of the original version. The celebrity version has become particularly popular in the UK.
This will be Ginuwine’s first stint on reality TV. He has yet to comment on the speculation.
Meanwhile, a US version is set to premiere in 2018. Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood’s Lyrica Anderson has reportedly been cast.
