Lakeith Stanfield Joins ‘Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ Sequel
Lakeith Stanfield has joined the cast of Sony’s “The Girl in the Spider’s Web,” the sequel to “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo”, according to reports.
The thriller currently stars Claire Foy as Lisbeth Salander, Sylvia Hoeks as Salander’s twin sister, and Claes Bang as the villain. No word on Lakeith’s role. The movie will be directed by Fede Alvarez and hits theaters October 2018.
Lakeith will also co-star in the upcoming season of Donald Glover’s Atlanta, where he plays the role of Darius. Last year, he co-starred in the hit thriller, “Get Out”, along with prison drama, “Crown Heights.”

I love seeing him in all of these different type of roles. Every time I see him in something, it’s a new type of character. The sequel for this movie has taken FOREVERRRRRR!!!! The first movie came out in 2011. I wonder what’s taking them so long.
