‘Black Panther’ Projected For $100 Million Opening
The projections for “Black Panther” are in and they’re impressive! According to reports, the Marvel-Disney film is projected to open in the $100 million to $120 million range in the US, for the four-day Presidents Day weekend.
As previously reported, advance ticket sales for the Chadwick Boseman led film set a new record for Fandango as the top seller among Marvel Cinematic Universe movies in the first 24 hours, topping “Captain America: Civil War.”

The movie is also becoming one of the three most-watched Marvel trailers in its first 24 hours. It stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa / Black Panther alongside Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.
