Kendrick Lamar To Make An Appearance On ‘Power’ This Weekend

Fans of Kendrick Lamar will get to witness him make his acting debut very very soon. K. Dot will guest star opposite Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson on Power‘s fifth episode. The episode, titled “Happy Birthday,” airs Sunday, July 29th.

On Instagram, 50 Cent hinted that his character would be meeting a new friend. He captioned the video teaser,

Yeah you know I’m different, wait till you see Power this Sunday. Your not going to believe who we got on the show.

The announcement was officially made today. Executive producer Mark Canton says:

Kendrick is a once in a generation talent and Courtney, 50 and I felt it would be exciting to create a role for him in ‘Power.’ Everyone involved is thrilled to have him join the family.
