Donald Trump Praises Kim Kardashian and Kanye West at GOP Event

The relationship between Kanye West and Donald Trump has blossomed since Trump officially became president. Both of the power players have praised each other on and off social media, but at a recent GOP event, Trump had a few additional words to say about the recording artist and his reality star/beauty mogul wife, Kim Kardashian-West.

The words were confessed at a Republican fundraising dinner in Columbus, Ohio where Trump was speaking to his supporters about the state of the United States and other political things. He praised the superstar couple and boasted about his relationship with the recording artist.

“Now we’re doing great and Kanye West liked me and that really lifted my- Kanye West has some real power(!),” aside from Trump’s astonishment to West’s alleged power, he also glorified Kardashian-West also.

He continued,

“He’s got a good wife too, in Kim, I’ll tell ya. She really is.”

In June, Trump worked very closely with the mother of 3 in efforts for a 63-year-old Tennessee woman to receive a pardon.

Alice Marie Johnson was incarcerated for life, after being found convicted for a first-time drug offense. While Johnson served at least 20 of those years, in 2018, Trump granted freedom and was able to reunite with her family. Trump continued on about Kardashian-West stating,

“She did a great thing. She did a great thing. The person was in jail on a very strange thing. She was there for 22 years and it was based largely on a phone call that they were listening to and she had another 24 years, she was about 62 or 63 and I gave her a pardon.”

Trump also relished in the moment when Johnson was connected with her family again,

“She had some grandchildren, some sons, some grandchildren that were so beautiful, they were grabbing her and it was just a beautiful thing to see, and she was in there for 22 years and that was through Kim Kardashian, so I think it was terrific.”

In August, Kim confessed to saying she had very little negative things to say about the president, but she was receptive to his support,

“You know I have nothing bad to say about the president he has done something amazing. I’m very focused and I don’t agree with everything either and I had no idea what to expect going in there.”

In the midst of Kanye sharing his affiliation with Trump, he was recently left speechless after being questioned about supporting the President, whose actions have been ignited by hate with no foundation of a relative motive.
