A-Rod Pays $115,000 Per Month In Child & Spousal Support, Wants To Reduce Payments
Alex Rodriguez could be making the moves to get his spousal and child support reduce soon. Sources close to Rodriguez alleged that he feels as if pays too much money to his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis. Rodriguez, 43, who is currently dating Jennifer Lopez, 49, married his ex-wife in November 2002 and filed for divorce in June 2008 – Scurtis, 45, and Rodriguez settled on $115,000 a month in combined spousal and child support, but they’ve currently been in negotiations among their lawyers to get it reduced.
Sources say,
He just feels that his ex needs to come down a bit in what she needs. They have been discussing his payments for awhile through lawyers.
Rodriguez has two daughters with his ex-wife, Natasha, 13, and Ella, 10.
Alex takes good care of his kids and he has been good to Cynthia but feels he is paying excessive amounts to his ex that should be lowered since he is no longer playing ball. He is not going to do anything to change what his daughters get from their father or will he change anything about their time with him.
Rodriguez and J.Lo began dating in March 2017. The pair have been public with their relationship, as they’ve been spotted blending their families. J.Lo, who was previously married to Marc Anthony, has two children.
Rodriguez received a special shout out from his girlfriend during her acceptance speech at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. J.Lo was awarded the Micheal Jackson Video Vanguard Award for her contribution to music over the span of her career.
