Ariana Grande Releases New Track “Thank U, Next” Dedicated To Her Ex-Boyfriends
Following a joke Pete Davidson made about their broken engagement, Ariana Grande tweeted out “thank u, next” which in turn has ended up becoming the title of a song she dedicated to him and a few other ex-boyfriends.
In the first verse of the song, Ariana name drops Big Sean, Ricky Alvarez, Pete Davidson and Mac Miller. She sings,
Thought I’d end up with Sean but he wasn’t a match. Wrote some songs about Ricky now I listen and laugh.
Even almost got married and for Pete, I’m so thankful.
Wish I could say, “Thank you” to Malcolm cause he was an angel.
The song is about Ariana thanking her exes for helping her be more happy with appreciating herself. In the track, she talks about finding love and patience within herself and not rushing to fall in love with another guy.
