New Edition’s Ronnie DeVoe’s Wife Shamari DeVoe: I’ve Had An Open Relationship, But I Was Only Allowed To Sleep W/ Women

Shamari DeVoe is opening the door wide open as the new comer on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Sunday’s (Nov. 25) latest episode revealed Shamari has been in an open relationship with her husband Ronnie DeVoe, one of the original members of New Edition. Shamari, who is a member of the 90s girl group Blaque, shared the information among the cast of the Atlanta Housewives. She explained the details about the parameters of an open relationship,

So y’all know each other are dating other people, and it’s okay. You’re not cheating.

When asked about the difference between dating and “f**king” other people within an open relationship, Shamari affirms it was simply:

F**king other people.

When asked if she and her husband tell each other who they’ve slept with, she replied,

Yeah.

And when asked if they would run into people they’ve slept with, she admits:

Yeah and its like okay.

Later in the show, Shamari revealed she was the one to initially start the idea of having an open relationship and she was also the one to put an end to it. While also sharing within their open relationship, Ronnie only allowed her to have sex with women; Shamari says she slept with two women during the time span, while she suspects he probably slept with about 10 women.

Shamari and Ronnie wedded in March 2006 and welcomed twin boys in 2017.
