Blac Chyna’s Business Gets Suspended For Reportedly Failing To File Tax Return
Is Blac Chyna’s business in trouble? According to reports, her lash business, Lashed, LLC, is in some legal turmoil. The momtrepreneur’s brick-and-mortar store has been suspended since November 1, 2018, according to the Franchise Tax Board (FTB), and the reason being is because the business,
[failed] to file a tax return.
FTB is a tax agency based in California which is responsible for collecting and enforcing personal and corporate income taxes. In addition to being unable to legally run a company, suspended business are prohibited from suing/defending themselves in court; filing a claim for refund; and are forced to legally close or dissolve the business. On top of the probability of being slammed with a $2,000 fine.
The echo of these actions are caused due to the owner of this business failing to respond to multiple notices over about two month time frame. Although the brick-and-mortar store has been forced to close their doors, Chyna is still able to operate her business via it’s online portal.
The minor shut down comes at a peculiar time, considering the fact Kylie Jenner recently filed to register a trademark called “KYLASH,” which is suspected to be a another business venture that will sell mascara, eyelash extension fibers, artificial eyelashes, eyelash tint and non-medicated eyelash serums.
Blac Chyna and Kylie Jenner have multiple twisted lines with one another. At one point, Jenner dated Chyna’s ex-boyfriend and child’s father, Tyga. While Jenner went on to make a baby with Travis Scott, Chyna has also birthed Dream Kardashian, Rob Kardashian‘s daughter.
