Nicki Minaj Releases “Hard White” Video, Suspected to Be Taking Shots At Drake
Ahead of her European tour set to kick off in late February, Nicki Minaj released the video for “Hard White,” the next single from 2018’s “Queen.” The dark and demonic themed video is different from others like “Good Form,” and “Barbie Dreams.”

“Hard White” takes place in sand embedded fortress, as she delivers flaming bars with no merit. The video also has some symbolic references, as well. In first few lines into the second verse, Minaj spits
My legacy could never be undone / I’m a prodigy, R.I.P Thun-Thun / Got these bitches shook, they shocked, no stun-gun

In the video, there’s a scorpion appearing in one frame, then in another, it appears dissembled. Minaj is suspected to be referencing Drake in this instance considering they unfollowed each other on Instagram in 2018.

Both artists are still suspected to be tied in within the Young Money label; especially after Lil’ Wayne became the sole owner of the label after his long-winded battle with Cash Money CEO Birdman.
