R. Kelly – Ex Hairstylist Says Singer Masturbated In Front Of Her & Spit In Her Face: This Is My Truth [VIDEO]

Just as legendary singer/songwriter/producer R. Kelly was likely breathing a sigh of relief after rival attorney Michael Avenatti was arrested and charged with trying to extort $20 million from Nike—he may have new cause to worry because another woman is accusing him of sexual assault.

Another R. Kelly accuser has decided to come forward after claiming that she was sexually assaulted by him back in the early 2000s. Lanita Carter, who was 24 years old at the time of the alleged incident, claims in a new interview that in 2003 when she was Kelly’s hairstylist, he allegedly tried to force her to have oral sex, to which she resisted. Carter then states that Kelly masturbated in front of her and spit in her face. She also claims that she submitted the shirt she was wearing at the time to authorities hoping for a DNA match.

In the interview with CBS This Morning, Carter attempted to explain why she is just now coming forward with her claims:

“When I finally realized I don’t want to be this victim, I don’t want to be a part of this, every time I tried to pick myself up again, I felt like something on the news brought me back to what I thought I swept under the rug. Today — today I say: no more. You can talk about me. You can not like what I’m sayin’ about your favorite singer.

She continued,

But this is my life… This is my truth. This is what I have. If I die tomorrow, I know that I told the truth. I know that I want to be the best person I could be. I know that I want to help people. If it’s anybody that want to speak [their] truth, it’s hard when it’s a celebrity. It’s not easy. It’s not easy if it wasn’t a celebrity. It makes it 10 times worse.”

Kelly, who is currently charged with 10 counts of sexual assault, recently gave an explosive interview to Gayle King earlier this month where he emphatically denied all the allegations against him—suggesting that the accusers are solely out for money and to ruin his name.
