Nipsey Hussle’s Sister Moves To File For Primary Guardianship Of His Daughter
As friends, fans and family continue to mourn the death of L.A. rapper Nipsey Hussle, those closest to him are looking out for the well-being of the children he left behind.
Hussle’s sister, has reportedly just filed court documents to become the primary guardian of his daughter Emani.
According to reports, Nipsey Hussle’s sister Samantha Smith has recently filed documents in Los Angeles Superior Court to become the legal guardian of Hussle’s 10-year-old daughter Emani. Before his untimely death, Hussle was the primary guardian of Emani and now that he is gone, Smith is following through with her promise to take care of his children.

Emani’s mother, Hussle’s ex-girlfriend Tanisha Asghedom, is reportedly unable to properly care for her daughter, which is allegedly why Hussle was given custody years ago.
Smith says her reasoning for wanting custody of Emani is because she has assisted in caring for the young girl throughout her life and reportedly wants “to ensure the continued stability for Emani and ensure that she will be able to maintain her current and ongoing relationship” with Hussle’s family.
Nipsey Hussle also has a 2-year-old son, Kross, from his relationship with girlfriend Lauren London. The judge in the case has yet to rule on Smith’s request for guardianship.
