Meagan Good: “My Experience With Some Church Folks Has Not Been That Positive!”
Actress Meagan Good was born and raised in the Christian church, however she says the church has given her the harshest criticism she’s ever received. Perhaps, this judgment only intensified after she married minister/movie producer Devon Franklin.

During a recent interview with DL Hughley she touched on some of the unkind behavior she’s received from fellow Christians over the years. When DL asked if she regularly attends church, she responded:
“I do. Not all the time though, because if I’m being completely honest, my experience with some church folks has not been that positive. It’s unfortunate because we’re supposed to be the biggest lovers.”
She continued:
“And it’s like even if you disagree with someone or you don’t think what they’re doing is right, you’re supposed to mind your own business and pray for that person. Other times, you’re supposed to correct in love if that’s what God told you to do. And there was no correction in love. It was like a complete assault.”
