Tina Lawson Hosts Wearable Art Gala: Tyler Perry, Kelly Rowland, Beyoncé, Jay Z, Blue Ivy, Lena Waithe, Jidenna Attend
The third annual Wearable Art Gala was recently held and a host of celebrities came out to the event, including Beyoncé, Jay Z and former Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

The third annual Wearable Art Gala took place in Santa Monica, California and the celebs were on hand to showcase their looks. The event is hosted by Beyoncé‘s mom, Tina Knowles Lawson, and stepfather Richard Lawson, who both founded the organization Where Art Can Occur (WACO.)

This year’s theme was “A Journey to the Pride Lands”, influenced the upcoming live action remake of the 1994 Academy Award-winning animated classic The Lion King. The event was also sponsored by Disney, as Beyoncé is voicing the Nala in the film. Other celebrities in attendance included: Jidenna, Mario, Trevor Jackson, Lena Waithe, Aisha Hinds, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Tyler Perry, Kym Whitley, Marjorie Harvey and more.
