Apollo Nida’s Fiancée Says He Did NOT Violate His Parole, Slams His Parole Officer: Another Crime Against A Black Man!
Former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Apollo Nida‘s freedom was recently cut short. After serving five years in a Pennsylvania prison, he was released on June 4th of this year – only to be returned to prison nine days. The ex-husband of Phaedra Parks, reportedly, violated his parole. The Blast reported that he allegedly broke a requirement for the halfway house he was ordered to upon his release. A source said:
“Nida had a list of rules to follow while living in the halfway home and we’re told he broke technical requirement pertaining to the rules of his release…It’s unclear exactly what rule he violated, but it was enough to alert authorities and get him thrown back in the slammer.”
But, Apollo’s fiance, Sherien Almufti, says that isn’t the case. She’s been patiently waiting in the wings throughout his sentence, and insists his re-arrest is only a minor setback. Her Instagram caption read:
“@queensherien They can’t stop us babe!!! For those who are confused @apollonida03 didn’t violate a godd*mn thing. Another crime against a black man in the system. Jealously is a disease and his PO will die mad!!”
His re-arrest may put a delay on his and Sherien’s wedding. She appeared on “Say Yes to the Dress” last year, chronicling her journey to find the perfect wedding gown.
It is reported that Apollo Nida will remain in prison until his original release date – October 15, 2019.
