Ciara Responds To Criticism For Appearing In Video With Same Sex Couple: “Christians Don’t Judge!”
Singer Ciara is catching heat for her recent appearance in Taylor Swift‘s new music video. In the star-studded LGBT-friendly visual for Taylor’s latest single, “You Need to Calm Down,” Ciara officiates the vow renewal of “Modern Family” actor Jesse Tyler and podcast host Justin Mikita.

Ciara posted a clip of her cameo with the following caption:
“@ciara @JesseTyler @JustinMikita. Wedding is Lit #Equality #YNTCDmusicvideo”
Apparently a follower didn’t appreciate Ciara’s support of the LGBT community. @lucas_norton101 commented this under CiCi’s post:
“Ciara. You shouldn’t be doing this. We respect u too much, Being at a gay wedding is one thing and joining them together is even more a greater sin. We love you but this is wrong.”
The “Thinking ‘Bout You” singer clapped back with a cheeky comment using the video’s title:
“Firstly, Christians don’t judge. Secondly, #YouNeedToCalmDown”

Also, could Taylor Swift be considered the president of the Beyhive? The singer came under fire earlier this year after her Billboard Music Awards performance bore a striking resemblance to Beyonce‘s historic Coachella Music Festival performance.
Ironically, Taylor’s latest video shares several visual similarities to Beyonce’s “Party” video. Interesting!
