Grace Jones Quits “James Bond” Film
Production of the highly anticipated 25th installment of the iconic James Bond film series has been riddled with setbacks! The set has been cursed with production crew turnovers, injuries, and even an explosion! Last month, the movie’s official Twitter account released a statement on the pyro flub:
“During the filming of a controlled explosion on the set of Bond 25 today at Pinewood Studios, damage was caused to the exterior of the 007 stage. There were no injuries on set, however one crew member outside the stage has sustained a minor injury.”

But the mishaps didn’t stop there. Iconic androgynous singer/actress Grace Jones has reportedly quit her role in the film, set in Jamaica.

The 71-year-old reportedly made a dramatic exit after learning her role would be smaller than she anticipated. A source explained:
“Bosses were really excited about landing her. Of course, she comes with a reputation, so they organized premium accommodation and rolled out the red carpet on set to make her feel welcome. But it turns out Grace was expecting to play a bigger role in the movie and took her brief cameo as a slight.”
They added:
“She was out of there quicker than it takes to rustle up a martini.”
In 1985, Grace Jones starred alongside Roger Moore as May Day in the James Bond film, “A View to Kill.”
The untitled 25th James Bond film is scheduled to premiere on April 8, 2020.
