Will Smith & Jada Pinkett-Smith Launch Media Company, Westbrook Inc.

On the heels of their social media success, Hollywood power couple Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett-Smith have reportedly launched their own new media venture – Westbrook Inc.

The company is a large umbrella comprised of their subsidiary companies that execute the Smith family’s many entertainment and media ventures. Those companies are Overbrook Entertainment, Red Table Talk Enterprises and the recently formed Westbrook Studios (which currently houses Facebook’s popular “Red Table Talk” series), Westbrook Media, and their recent merchandising business, Good Goods. These ventures will develop films, TV series, and documentaries showcasing diverse voices.

Will and Jada released this statement on the mission of Westbrook Inc.:

“[Westbrook Inc. will allow us to] fully immerse ourselves in all areas of the media and entertainment space. With our incredible team of family, chosen family, and longtime business partners, Westbrook Inc.’s mission is to spread positive ideas, art, and products that entertain and empower the greatest number of lives, inspiring the next generation of artists to do good in the world.”

The Smith duo may be household names, but they can’t do it by themselves! They have tapped industry veterans to join their team – such as Kosaku Yada as CEO, Tera Hanks as President, and COO Gila Jones, CFO Kevin McDonald and Business Development VP Jesse Uram.
