Mary J. Blige & Nas To Donate Baltimore Concert Proceeds To Recreational & Technical Center

Mary J. Blige and Nas are giving the youth of Baltimore, MD the royal treatment! The iconic singer and rapper embarked on their joint concert tour – The Royalty Tour – in early July, and are using their gifts for a good cause.

They teamed up with Baltimore’s Royal Farms Arena, Live Nation, and Mayor Jack Young to donate a portion of their proceeds from the concert to Liberty Rec and Tech Center. The proceeds will go towards providing music programs at the center.

Could Mary J. Blige’s and Nas’ extra love for B-More stem from Donald Trump‘s recent heinous remarks about the east coast city? In response to learning Rep. Elijah Cummings‘ Baltimore home was burglarized, he declared the city a “rodent infested mess.”

Mary J. Blige and Nas will perform in Baltimore on August 29th at Royal Farms Arena.
