LeBron James Files Trademark For ‘Taco Tuesday’
If LeBron James has his way, we’ll have to say goodbye to Taco Tuesday as we know it. His company, LBJ Trademarks LLC, has filed an application to trademark the infamous phrase, Taco Tuesday, which James enjoys every week.
If approved, James will be able to use Taco Tuesday for a podcast and social media posts. He filed the app for
“advertising and marketing services provided by means of indirect methods of marketing, communications, namely, social media, search engine marketing, inquiry marketing, mobile marketing, blogging and other forms of passive, shareable or viral communications channels.”
Lawyer Josh Gerben announced the news on social media.
A company owned by Lebron James, LBJ Trademarks LLC, has filed a trademark for TACO TUESDAY.
The filing indicates Lebron intends to continue offering his popular 'TACO TUESDAY' posts on social media and launch a podcast under the name.

The trademark attempt might not come as a surprise as James celebrates Taco Tuesday on the regular.
But some fans aren’t with it.
