Cardi B Seemingly Admits To Being A Blood, But Denies Affiliation With Nine Trey Gang
Cardi B is clearing the air after her fellow rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine outed her for allegedly being a member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
While testifying against some of his former gang members Thursday (Sept. 19), Tekashi name-dropped Cardi and rapper Jim Jones.
A rep for Cardi denied Tekashi’s claims and said
“This is not true.”
But Cardi spoke on them herself via Twitter.
She replied to a fan in a tweet that has since been deleted and said,
“You just said it yourself… Brim not 9 Trey. I never been 9 trey or associated with them.”

Still, Cardi hasn’t really been shy about her previous gang affiliations. She previously said,
“When I was 16 years old, I used to hang out with a lot of Bloods. I used to pop off with my homies. And they’d say, ‘Yo, you really get it poppin’. You should come home. You should turn Blood.’ And I did. Yes, I did.”
Meanwhile, Jones also took issue with Tekashi’s statement. When asked if Tekashi could ever “set foot” back in New York City after all the snitching he’s done, Jones said,
“I don’t know what he could do… That’s not my job. I grew up in an era where certain things, you cannot come back from. There’s no fixing that. You’re a rat, you’re a rat forever.”
