Kim Kardashian & Her Sisters Started Crying The Last Time They Saw O.J. Simpson: It Was Emotional

It’s no secret that O.J. Simpson has an ongoing connection with the Kardashians. The late patriarch of the family, Robert Kardashian, Sr., served as a lawyer on Simpson’s team when he was accused of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown, who was also Kardashian’s ex-wife, Kris Jenner’s BFF, in the 90s. Simpson went on to get acquitted and Kardashian tragically passed away. But the family’s ties are still going strong. From speculation that Simpson is Khloe Kardashian’s biological father to rumors that Jenner and Simpson had a steamy affair, the families can’t seem to escape one another.

Now, Kim Kardashian has opened up about an emotional run-in with Simpson. 

“I think the last time I saw him was in Miami. It was before he had gone to jail [for the] last situation… I think me, Kourtney [Kardashian] and Khloe were in Miami in a club, and we ran into him in the VIP section… We all, I think, all started crying. It was emotional.”

She added that she really doesn’t like talking about it.

“There’s nothing worse than someone you knew from your childhood just starts talking about your life. I’ve seen that happen with people that have been close to us, and they start talking about us as kids and they really don’t know us now. It gets so frustrating. So I always try to be super respectful and keep to myself on issues and this subject.”

But there’s no bad blood between the families.

“His kids are all so amazing and Nicole’s kids, and I’m still somewhat friendly with his children. I don’t really talk to them, but I did connect with his son a few years back and I just have respect for them and their lives must be extremely hard to really go through that. So, I always try to keep to myself on that issue and not bring anything up for them.”

Interestingly enough, Simpson has shut down rumors of hooking with Jenner and secretly being Khloe’s dad.

He said in June via Twitter,

“Bob Kardashian is like a brother to me. He’s a great guy. He met and married Kris and they really had a terrific time together when they were together. But never, and I’ll stress never, in any way, shape or form have I ever had any interest in Kris romantically, sexually. And I never got any indication that she had any interest in me. So all of these stories are just bogus and tasteless.”

“Khloe, like all the girls I’m very proud of just like I know Bob would be if he was here. But the simple fact of the matter is she’s not mine. One of the people spreading this rumor is a guy that the media loves to say is my manager. I had one manager in whole my life, Chuck Barnes, when I came out of USC. Unfortunately, he died about 45 years ago.”
