J. Lo & Shakira Headlining Super Bowl Halftime Show
“This is happening. 02.02.20”

“Two queens. First time together on stage. On the world’s biggest stage. Welcome J. Lo and Shakira.”

In Pepsi’s tweet, the NFL sponsor also mentioned Jay-z’s Roc Nation team, who has recently teamed up with the NFL to enhance the NFL’s live game experiences and to amplify the league’s social justice efforts. As previously, the Roc Nation founder spoke on working with the NFL.
“The NFL has a great big platform, and it has to be all-inclusive. They were willing to do some things, to make some changes, that we can do some good.”

Reportedly, Lopez and Shakira both signed on about a month after the NFL closed a deal with Jay Z’s Roc Nation. In a recent interview, Lopez opened up on the subject of performing at the Super Bowl,
“I don’t know. Everybody’s asking me. They’re starting to think I’m telling people things. I don’t know anything yet. In theory yes, it would be [great]. It’s something we’ve talked about for many years. It would be nice. I can’t say I wouldn’t love it.”
Super Bowl LIII received 98.2 million viewers on CBS, according to Nielsen. Maroon 5 headlined last year’s Super Bowl halftime show from Atlanta’s Mercedez-Benz Stadium, with Travis Scott and Outkast’s Big Boi. Previous Super Bowl halftime performers include a list of A-list talent as Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, and Prince.
