‘Clueless’ Gets A Reboot, New Show To Center Around Stacey Dash’s Character Dionne
“Clueless” is making its way back to the small screen.
What first started as a movie in 1995, turned into a series that aired from 1996-1999, is coming back!
While the original focused on Cher Horowitz (played by Alicia Silverstone) and her group of stylish and wealthy friends, the reboot will reportedly center around Cher’s BFF Dionne Davenport, played by actress Stacey Dash.
The new show will feature hourlong episodes and is described as a Mean Girls meets Riverdale, all to the soundtrack of a Lizzo music video.
And just like the initial show, it will take place in high school. It’s set to tell Dionne’s story after Cher goes MIA.
It’s not clear if Dash or Donald Faison, the actor who played her infamous boyfriend Murray, will appear in the show.
