Kanye West Performs At Texas Jail

Kanye West is spreading the love. He and his infamous Sunday Service choir stopped by a Harris County jail earlier this week as they prepare for Kanye West’s sit-down with Pastor Joel Osteen in Houston Sunday (Nov. 17).

And it’s safe to say many of the inmates were happy to see him and were encouraged by his positive vibes.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez shared a photo with West and wrote,

“@kanyewest visited us today. I know he has a busy weekend in H-Town surrounding his visit to @lakewoodchurch ,so appreciate him and his choir spending time with us. #HouNews“
He also reported that West said,
“This is a mission, not a show.”
The Public Affairs Director for the county’s Sheriff’s office, Jason Spencer, also shared photos and tweeted,
“Say what you want about the man. But @kanyewest and his choir brought some light to people who needed it today at the Harris County Jail.”
