DaBaby’s First Comments After Being Released From Jail: “The Devil Can’t Do Nothin’ With Me!”
Grammy-nominated rapper DaBaby (real name, Jonathan Lyndale Kirk) is fresh out of a Miami jail, and is, apparently, getting back to the money. According to reports, the “Suge” rapper was arrested on Friday, January 3rd, for attacking a promoter that allegedly shorted him on his $30,000 performance fee. DaBaby allegedly took $80 in cash and a credit card from the promoter, drenched him in apple juice, and snatched his iPhone 7.

The Charlotte, North Carolina native was charged with one count of battery, and given a $5000 bond. He is now subliminally speaking out on social media. DaBaby posted an Instagram video excitedly rapping along to one of his records while holding a large stack of money.

He, later, issued this message on his IG Story:
“The devil can’t do nothin wit me dawg…Control the hype. Don’t let it control you.”

The attacked promoter reportedly wants to pursue further legal action against his rap-star aggressor. What do you think of DaBaby’s latest incident?
