“Love Is Blind” Star Carlton Morton Hints At Suicide After Backlash From Show: “Black Lives Matter Until It’s An LGBT Black Life”
Update #2: According to reports, Carlton Morton is allegedly going to therapy for help.
As the current number one trending show on Netflix, Nick and Vanessa Lachey‘s love experiment show – “Love Is Blind” – has been on the tongues of fans for the past three weeks! The show challenges a group of singles to get to know each other by talking through the walls of separate rooms, not physically meeting each other until they’ve gotten engaged. They, then, proceed to get married or leave their partners stranded at the altar. Contestants Carlton Morton and Diamond Jack didn’t even make it to their wedding ceremony after Carlton revealed to Diamond that he was bisexual.

Carlton and Diamond got into a fiery argument about whether or not he should have disclosed his sexuality prior to them getting engaged – spawning tons of social media commentary on fluidity and acceptance in the Black community.
Although the former couple was shown forgiving each other on the reunion special, Carlton Morton has raised eyebrows on social media with what many believe are suicidal posts. He says he feels he’s been left alone to fend for himself against a wave of backlash:
“I’m really done. Thanks for the press requests, bookings, etc. I am not doing any press/bookings as of today’s radio interview. URBAN MEDIA has been the WORST to me. Black lives matter until it’s an LGBT Black life. Also, so called “celebrity” friends on social media have every opportunity to defend my CHARACTER yet they don’t! I’ve argued for tons of people. Y’all see ANY of those people speaking up for me? I’M DONE…Thanks for the 3 of y’all who supported me in this. I feel alone and don’t want any of this life anymore. I’m fighting ALONE. And it HURTS.”
He continued his sentiments, becoming more direct on Twitter before issuing a goodbye message on his Instagram Story:
“Today is one of those days where I don’t want to be here. I feel extremely alone and unsupported. I’ve cried for help since Feb. 13. No one cares.”
However, his “Love Is Blind” castmate, Lauren “LC” Chamblin and fans of the show have reportedly attempted to reach out to Carlton.
Neither Carlton Morton nor Diamond Jack have commented on Carlton’s recent posts as of yet.
